Coordination meeting with the leadership of the ITU during the World Summit on Artificial Intelligence to Promote Development

With the aim of enhancing digital education efforts on pan—Arab and global level, also building best practices, Coordination meeting with the leadership of the International Telecommunication Union during the World Summit on Artificial Intelligence to Promote Development

On the sidelines of the AI for Good Global Summit, Dr. Waleed Al Ali, Secretary General of The Digital School, met with Adel Darwish, Director of the Regional Office for the Arab States at the ITU, and Dr. Bilel Jamoussi, Deputy Director of TSB and Chief of the Telecommunication Standardization Policy Department (TSB) at the ITU. The meeting discussed the latest developments in digital education and the international efforts of The Digital School in this field. They also explored areas of cooperation and coordination to enhance digital education efforts on both the Arab and global levels and to build best practices in digital education. Additionally, the role and regulation of artificial intelligence in supporting development efforts and promoting education were addressed.
