The Digital School, one of the initiatives of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, has announced the launch of a new strategic partnership with Transguard Group, a leading provider of business support and outsourcing solutions, and the Centre of Excellence for Applied Research and Training (CERT), under the Skills Academies initiative. The partnership aims to establish an integrated model that connects digital education with the future needs of the labor market.

The partnership seeks to align learning outcomes with emerging economic opportunities by integrating digital education with applied training curricula and employment pathways. This approach will enhance the readiness of young people in underserved communities to enter the workforce, enabling them to acquire specialized, job-ready skills through flexible and scalable digital learning programs. These programs are designed to improve economic opportunities and create sustainable developmental impact.

Dr. Waleed Al Ali, Secretary General of The Digital School, emphasized that the Skills Academies initiative reflects The Digital School's vision of transforming education and training into a driver of economic development and professional empowerment by equipping youth with practical and future-focused skills that are in high demand in the labor market.

He added that the partnership, supported by the Attaya Initiative of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, represents a comprehensive model that combines learning, training, and employment within a single ecosystem. This ensures that learners can seamlessly transition from acquiring skills to securing real employment opportunities. He also noted that the initiative will provide 1,000 job opportunities within Transguard Group, helping to strengthen youth employability and create sustainable economic and career prospects.

Rabie Atieh, Chief Executive Officer of Transguard Group, stated that the partnership reflects the organization's strong commitment to workforce development. He noted that Transguard has consistently worked to create opportunities that support sustainable employment and long-term skills development.

He added: "By working closely with The Digital School and CERT, we will contribute to building a workforce that is well-prepared for the labor market through practical training and structured workplace integration. This will benefit not only employers, but also individuals, families, and communities alike."

Mohammed Ghiyath, Chief Executive Officer of CERT, explained that the partnership builds on the rapid success achieved by the Skills Academies initiative and reinforces CERT's leadership role in redefining large-scale applied education models. He stated that through leveraging CERT's advanced expertise and strengthening collaboration across sectors, the organization is building an integrated ecosystem that directly links training with employment, enabling learners to acquire highly practical, workforce-ready skills that accelerate their integration into the labor market and meet future demands.

In its first phase, the partnership will focus on launching the Facilities Management Academy, the first academy established under the agreement. It will serve as a practical model for connecting digital education with direct employment opportunities in vital sectors experiencing growing demand.

Under the partnership, The Digital School will lead the strategic direction of the initiative and ensure that its outcomes are aligned with labor market needs. CERT will be responsible for designing and delivering the training programs and managing the learner journey, while Transguard Group will act as the employment partner by providing hands-on field training and clear, sustainable employment pathways for graduates.
